busy etsy

It is my goal to post a new katie jean creation on my etsy site every day.  And this being my first day, I posted my hopscotch scarves.

veteran's dayThis is my girl, being stylish on a cold day.  Her brother's were wearing red, white, and blue to school to celebrate Veteran's Day.  And she had to get in on the action too.  She even had this blue dress with glittered stars (from Target) that was perfect for the day.  And I had this scarf that was perfect for her!

At the boys school, there were local vet's who were being honored. And they were then invited into each classroom to share their war experiences, in a G rated way :)  A local news station was even there, and out of 600 kids, I was able to pick mine out!

I'll keep you up on what is coming out of my sewing room.  There will be more creations coming daily!

Excellent goal! Hope your craft fair went well. Posting often on etsy works well.

My father received some cards from elementary school kids for Veteran's day. I can't tell you how much it meant to him. Those little ones and their 'thank you's' mean so much!

Your girl is such a sweetie!

I love the scarf. I have a special order request to make a couple of rag style scarfs, she isn't really picky, she just wants animal prints. I was trying to think about what to put on the back, flannel, minky, etc.. and seeing your chenille made the light bulb go off over my head. Thanks, and good luck, I'm sure they will be a big hit. And anytime you need to vent about lack of sales (or anything) I'm here for you! Keep me updated about your sewing workshops, the coasters sound fun, but I'm having my son's birthday party on that day.
